Bully Beef Tart




Surprisingly delicious...

Time;  30 minutes
Serves: 4 -6

Ingredients:
  • 15 ml olive or avocado oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 340 g tin bully beef, chopped
  • 250 ml Cheddar, grated
  • handful parsley, chopped
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 250 ml milk
  • 125 ml breadcrumbs
  • chutney, to serve
Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180'C.  Heat oil on medium high & saute the onions & garlic.  Combine the bully beef, onion, 1/2 of the cheese & parsley.
  2. Mix together the eggs, milk & breadcrumbs.
  3. Add the bully beef mixture.
  4. Spoon into a greased 22 cm x 26 cm oven dish.
  5. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over & bake for about 20 minutes or until set.
  6. Serve with the chutney.
