This tomato jam is a delicious on burgers, crackers (with some cream cheese) or even on top off a simple savoury tart. |
Ingredients:
- 1kg cherry tomatoes, halved
- 180ml sugar
- 30ml apple cider vinegar
- 3cm ginger, finely grated
- 3ml cumin seeds
- 5ml salt
- pinch cayenne pepper
Method:
Bring all the ingredients to a boil on high while stirring.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the mixture has thickened to the consistency of jam.
Allow to cool.
