Mom's Apple Tart

Apple Tart Favourite



Ingredients:
  • 125g Margarine
  • 250ml Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsps Baking Powder
  • 1 large tin Pie apples

Method:
  1. Cream sugar & margarine.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, than add the flour & baking powder.
  3. Mix with hand. If not wet enough add more milk.
  4. Flatten into pie dish.
  5. Heat pie apples and tsp sugar. Add onto dough.
  6. Grate some leftover dough onto pie apples.
  7. Bake at 180°C, till brown.
