Marmite Bites

Savoury snack


Ingredients:
  • 215g Frozen puff pasty, thawed
  • 1 Tablespoon marmite
  • 1/2 Teaspoon water


Method:
  1. Roll out the pastry thinly on a floured surface to a rectangle about 25 x 30cm. 
  2. Mix the marmite and the water together and spread over the pastry to cover completely.
  3. Roll up loosely from shorter side like a Swiss roll.
  4. Position the join underneath.
  5. Chill for 20 minutes.
  6. Cut into 5mm slices. placing on baking sheets and make a slit in each from edge to centre.
  7. Bake in pre-heated oven, 200°C for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm or cold.
