Savoury snack
Ingredients:
- 215g Frozen puff pasty, thawed
- 1 Tablespoon marmite
- 1/2 Teaspoon water
Method:
- Roll out the pastry thinly on a floured surface to a rectangle about 25 x 30cm.
- Mix the marmite and the water together and spread over the pastry to cover completely.
- Roll up loosely from shorter side like a Swiss roll.
- Position the join underneath.
- Chill for 20 minutes.
- Cut into 5mm slices. placing on baking sheets and make a slit in each from edge to centre.
- Bake in pre-heated oven, 200°C for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm or cold.
