Garlic Cheese Loaf

Always a winner



Ingredients:
  • 500g Self raising flour
  • 125ml Grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3ml Dried thyme
  • 60g Packet white onion soup powder
  • 500ml  Buttermilk
Topping:
  • 50ml Grated chedder cheese
  • Cayenne pepper

Method:
  1. Sift flour into mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in cheese, garlic, thyme, soup powder.
  3. Make well in centre and stir in buttermilk, mixing well.
  4. Spoon mixture into pan.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese and cayenne pepper.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes to one hour.
