Chicken Liver Pate


You will never need another recipe. The best.

(Please note: Herbs, mushrooms & bacon may be omitted).


Ingredients:
  • 2 x 250g pkts chicken livers
  • 1 Chopped onion
    1 Large tablespoon butter
  • 2 - 3 Cloves crushed garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 250ml Cream
  • 50ml ALL GOLD tomato sauce
  • 30 - 50ml Sherry
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Pinch of mixed herbs
  • Rasher or two bacon
  • Mushrooms

Method:
  1. Place the bacon, onion, mushrooms, garlic, butter & herbs in a deep dish.
  2. Cover and microwave for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken livers. Cover and microwave +/- 10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes until the livers are cooked.
  4. Allow mixture to cool slightly and add the salt & pepper, tomato sauce, sherry, sugar and lastly cream.
  5. Puree the mixture in a blender until smooth. Spoon pate into container.
  6. Microwave 100% powder. (Best chilled before serving)
